There are few things so precious as the time we have each day.

Yet why do we have phrases like the following?

Just killing time.

Wasting time.

Frittering away time

Perhaps the best phrase about time was uttered by Benjamin Franklin.

Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.

Time is the only asset that we have that we cannot earn more of.

Every person on earth is granted twenty-four hours of time each day.

We don’t get a chance to regain the minute that just left us.

Why do we squander time so unabashedly?

One of the best ways to understand how frivolous we are with our time is to keep a written record of how we use our time.

Many of us don’t realize how much of our time goes by wasted.

By keep a record of our time we get a feedback loop that instructs us how we are using our time.

With that feedback we can do a better job of investing our time in the most important pursuits.

Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.

Once the day is gone it’s gone
